University Press Ebook Offers

University Press Scholarship Online

Oxford's University Press Scholarship Online is offering titles from the 2011-2013 ebook collection. Collections are available by year (2011-2013), by publisher (11), and by subject (25). Pricing is based on the familiar Oxford 5-level pricing tiers based on FTE. The offer is a "more-the-merrier" type of deal with greater discounts based on increased number of participants:

·         Up to 49 libraries (15-25% off tiered list, depending on collection purchased)

·         50-74 libraries (25-35% off tiered list, depending on collection purchased)

·         75-99 libraries (35-45% off list, depending on collection purchased)

The participating publishers are:

·         American University in Cairo Press

·         University of California Press

·         University of Chicago Press

·         University of Edinburgh (UK) Press

·         University Press of Florida

·         Fordham University Press

·         Hong Kong University Press

·         University Press of Kentucky

·         University of Manchester (UK)

·         Oxford University Press

·         Policy Press (from the University of Bristol in the UK)

De Gruyter/Harvard University Press

De Gruyter is offering two collections – titles from 2013 and titles from 2011-2012 from Harvard University Press. The collections come wtih no DRM and unlimited use. De Gruyter has priced these collections on their nine Carnegie-based tiers. The 2013 collection contains 166 titles, and the 2011-2012 collection contains 231 titles.

Minitex is pleased to be working with a group of consortia to extend this De Gruyter/HUP offer sponsored by ARL. It is a "the-more-the-merrier" type of deal. There are two participation levels set to achieve discounts for the collections; they are as follows:

·         15-29 Libraries

·         30+ Libraries
